Precision vs Presence
Intro
My capstone exihibition investigates the relationship between material permanence and digital ephemerality through concrete sculpture, photogrammetry, and 3D animation. By translating hand-cast concrete forms into digital space, I explore how texture, weight, and time shift when physical objects become virtual. Rooted in questions around craft, presence, and AI-driven production, this work uses slow, material processes alongside digital tools to examine how meaning is shaped by duration, transformation, and perception. The project reflects an interest in bridging physical making with digital experimentation to create work that invites pause, reflection, and sensory awareness.
